Back at work and committing to a detox diet after four days of delectable delights in Derbeyshire.
What a wonderful surprise my dear friend Mario called and said he had just arrived in London and would i like to meet him at Claridges for Tea. I decided i would start the diet tomorrow.
Earl Grey Tea and Scones, Clotted Cream and Jam. I also am well aware it is the second one in a week but i feel it is important for you to see different variations of the Great English Cream Tea.

Yes I know that there are precut frozen chips but.... there is also a crab in a marie rose sauce sandwich and hidden a half pint of freezing cold cider and also hidden are the rolling hills of the Peaks and a perfect country pub called the Druid Inn.

Back in the Peak District in the Glorious Sunshine and after a 5 mile walk felt a cream tea was totally acceptable, eaten on the lawn at Hassop Hall Hotel...Heaven.

May i present to you amazing Crostini. Tapenade with Chilli, Borlotti Beans and Spinach, Parma ham and zucchini. At a dinner at the Max Wigram Gallery we were lucky enough to be served dishes by Pieter Maritz the chef and owner of the bespoke caterers Pestle and Mortar. I would not be exaggerating if i was to say that this was the tastiest freshest most sumptuous food i have eaten out in a long time. Thank you Max and Pieter.
