Horaay Honey and Co

I have moved offices and unfortunately I have not been best pleased with the local fayre and then Honey and Co opened on Thursday a few doors away.Sit in or take away with Food from the Middle East and wonderful cakes and sandwiches all made and baked on the premises and delicious coffee. Itamar and Sarit I wish you all the luck in the world you deserve to do fantastically thanks to your passion for food. Lettuce,Pea,Giant Couscous,Fresh Mint,Cucumber and Feta Salad with herbs and Yoghurt Dressing. Honey and Co.25a Warren Street,London W1T 5LZ.
Spatchcock with grapefruit and Pistachio Salad. Granger and Co.

Strange.

Now I am always a little wary about restaurants in Notting Hill. We will not go into that at this point but when I was suggested Granger and Co on Westbourne Grove i jumped to try. Bill Granger is an Australian Chef that is being heralded in London winning many awards. I had only heard about the breakfasts so here are a couple of savoury dishes. I have to say they were both fantastically light and fresh and clean. Next visit the breakfast. Crudites with spicy aubergine and pomegranate. Granger and Co.175 Westbourne Grove,London W11 2SB.

Quiche!!!!

I never thought i would blog about Quiche but... i found myself back at the Villandry on Great Portland street. I have been eternally disappointed in the Villandry and keep trying as i am sure there is something there. Also quite confused why they are always renovating. Maybe they have new owners thats why the cafe in the food store was actually very good and this leek quiche was rich and delicious. Villandry.170 Great Portland Street,London W1W 5QB.

Flat Planet.

Flat Planet serves wholemeal flatbreads with various toppings cooked before you fresh to order. I have fallen for the Diablo, spicy cured sausage with parmesan and rocket. Flat Planet,39 Great Marlborough Street,London W1F 7JG.
Chopped Chicken Salad. The Delaunay.

The Delaunay.

I was very excited to visit the Delaunay. A new restaurant/cafe opened by the masters of the London Restaurant scene Jeremy and Christopher who also own the Wolseley. Of course it was everything i imagined it to be perfection with a capital P. The down side was due to the traffic i only had 30 minutes to eat so i am not sure that these posts really are good examples of the dishes to choose from. Oh well i will just have to go back another time! Mixed Beetroots and Honeyed Goats Curd Salad. The Delaunay,The Aldwych,London WC2. 0207 499 8558.
Aubergine Curry with Flat Bread and Cucumber Raita. Delectable and Perfect in every way.

Now Please Forgive Me.

Due to the lateness of me blogging i have forgotten the name of the wonderful caterers who supplied these incredible dishes. If you are reading please send me the answer, I want to shout it out. Banana Dumplings with dipping spices served fresh out the pan.
